This tool is a random color picker: spin the color wheel when you can't decide what to paint with, which team color to take, or what shade your next project should use. The default set is arranged like the classic color wheel chart: 12 hues in order around the circle, from red through orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. On a complementary color wheel, complementary colors sit directly opposite each other — so whatever the spinner lands on, the slice straight across from it is its complement, a handy starting point for palettes that pop.
