What's new

The latest features and improvements, newest first.

  1. Weights on, CSV made easy

    • The weight column is ready on every new wheel, so you can set the odds without hunting for a switch.
    • A CSV button in the entries panel imports a spreadsheet, with two sample files to start from and drag and drop.
    • Write your own truths and dares in Spin the Bottle, and save them to a file to share or move between devices.
    • Hide the side panel on a big screen to give the wheel the whole width. It stays hidden until you bring it back.
    • The wheel now stops drifting the moment the page opens under your cursor.
  2. Share any tool

    • Every tool page now has a share button, right next to the sound and fullscreen controls.
    • Spin the Bottle can also be shared from the prompt card, the moment the bottle lands.
    • A preview card comes with every share, so the link looks right in chats and posts.
  3. Spin the Bottle

    • New Spin the Bottle game: the wheel holds still and a bottle turns, landing on truth or dare.
    • Over 1,000 truths, dares, and questions, with mode packs from family friendly to 18+.
    • Pick your game: truth or dare on its own, or switch on players and let the bottle choose who goes first.
    • Choose from eleven bottles or upload a photo of your own to spin.
  4. Picture wheels and shared links

    • Wheels that show pictures instead of names now preview the picture when you hover a slice, or press and hold it on a phone.
    • Shared wheel pages now follow the language you are browsing in.
  5. Read long names without squinting

    • Hover a slice whose name was shortened to see the full text.
    • The wheel now holds still while your cursor is on it, so a slice stays put while you read it.
    • On a phone or tablet, press and hold a slice to preview its picture or full name.
  6. Save links you shared before signing in

    • Shared a wheel as a guest, then made an account? Save those links to your account from My shares and manage them anywhere.
  7. Find your shared links without an account

    • Wheels you share are now remembered in your browser and listed on My shares, even when you are not signed in.
  8. Easier reading on text wheels

    • Wheels with long options, like the topic generator, now hold still so you can read them.
    • Tool pages now keep options and recent results in tabs, so your last spins are always one click away.
  9. Random topic generator

    • New Random Topic Generator wheel: spin for a topic to talk, write, or debate about.
    • Ten topic categories, from conversation and debate to writing, drawing, science, and funny.
    • Easy, medium, and hard difficulty, or a mix of all three.
    • A speaking timer that starts on its own after each spin, plus an option to read the topic aloud.
  10. iPhone and Android photos now work

    • Photos saved as HEIC, the default on iPhones and many newer Android phones, now work as slice, banner, and background pictures.
    • If a picture cannot be read, you now get a clear message instead of a blank image.
    • Spins now take the same amount of time on slower phones and laptops, instead of dragging on for much longer.
    • The wheel pauses its slow idle turn while it is scrolled out of view, or when your device asks for reduced motion, which saves battery.
    • The randomness checker now shows the exact share each entry should win, next to what it actually won, so weighted wheels are easy to verify.
    • Starting a spin now responds faster on slower devices.
    • Wheels with lots of pictures now load them in smaller batches, so a big photo wheel no longer overwhelms phones with less memory.
